Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are usually open from the first to send week of July into the first week of August for blueberry picking.

  • We do not offer pre-picked blueberries, we operate as a Pick Your Own / U Pick farm.

  • We currently only offer blueberries.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or Facebook page. We aim to respond quickly, usually within one to two business days.

About Us

Smith’s Berry Farm has deep roots, dating all the way back to 1888 when it was first established by William H. Smith Sr. In those early years, the farm was home to cattle and a variety of crops. It wasn’t until the late 1960s and early 1970s that Jesse and Yvonne Smith introduced blueberries to the farm, planting the seeds for a new chapter in its history.

Their grandson, Dennis Sr., and his wife Brenda Fontaine carried on the tradition, focusing on blueberry farming for many years. After Dennis Sr. passed away in 2014, Brenda and their son Dennis Jr. stepped in to keep the legacy alive.
